Stuffed Acorn Squash - Tis the season for stuffed squash again! These are great opportunities to use up any items you may have laying around!
Recipes
Baked Flounder with Onion and Lemon - You know I love a one pan recipe! Also, in my searching this recipe came up again, if you decide to make this, please send pictures.
Kale with Garlic and Bacon - Have some not so big kale fans you're cooking for? Like butter, bacon makes everything better. I could also see some maple roasted carrots on this too for a delicious side/lunch/heck I'd probably eat it for breakfast with an egg!
Peaches, Peaches, Peaches - Working with farmers means that sometimes I'm getting updates on availabilities at 5am or 10pm. At 10pm on Sunday I was notified there was one last set of peach trees left to be picked and I said I would take majority of them for you all (and did a happy dance at one more chance at peaches!!!) So, eat them straight up, enjoy them in a peach cake or make some peach butter!
All things Concord Grapes - Did I start the fruit share just so I could ensure that we would get grapes again? Yes, completely. I am so excited and delighted by these tart, sugary wonders and hope you are too!
Grilled Tuna Steak - Ina says this is good so I'm going to have to agree with her!
Baked Chicken with Apple - I love when I get to pull out my Great- Grandmother's old dutch oven for fall and winter cooking almost as much as I love one pot meals!
Bok Choy and Cauliflower Stir Fry - This recipe also includes a few suggested substitutions. It's wonderful to remember that there's always a few ways to get to a similar outcome with food and to utilize different things in your pantry!
Steamed Flounder with Mustard Greens - Another light and easy way to use these delicious greens and fish!
Chicken Broccoli Stir Fry - I.LOVE.BROCCOLI. and just like greens on beets and carrots, USE THE STEMS!
Swedish Apple Pie - If you have ever felt personally victimized by pie dough, I give you the Swedish Apple Pie. When Ed from Autumn Hills and David from Kimball and I started talking Macs for the fruit share this week all I was thinking about was eating a full dish of this apple pie.
