There's a New Kid on the Block!
Hello, Friends!
We have a new kid on the Pick of the Week Block! It's The Vegetarian Salad of the Week. A 32oz container packed with veggies, flavor, and love from our good friends at Forge Baking Co.
If the thought of trying to pack yourself another healthy lunch gives you hives, we feel you! Hive no more, friends. You can add this healthy weekly option to your subscription or choose it week by week.
You'll get a sneak peak into flavors in each Sunday Spoiler Alert. And to Spoil the Spoiler Alert, this week we are launching with an Orzo Salad with feta, red onion, olives, and fresh spinach. It got enthusiastic thumbs ups from the eager Family Dinner Team/Guinea Pigs. (It's a tough job over here.)
Sadly, this means we are bidding Adieu to the Vegetarian Soup of the Week as the temperatures climb and Spring stretches its lazy limbs.

How to Use Your Greens! - This time of year, I have to do a lot of mixing and matching from different farms to meet the number of items we need to send out and often have to use an umbrella term like "Greens" because a few different kinds are being sent out so that everyone can get them as quantities available are very limited.

Y'all I've been teasing this for a few weeks but we're into SPRING CROPS!!!!! If you cannot tell by the amount of exclamation points, I am just a little bit excited. And, that also means we're in bonus veg season AKA tops of radish/carrots/beets and others! One of the best ways to use them quickly is to turn them into Pestos, chopped into salads, sautéed, and many more ways! Make us proud and use all your veggies :) Additionally, for longer storage of the veggie in question, cut the greens as soon as you get them and store separately.
Poached Salmon with No-Fail Hollandaise - I'd definitely do an arugula salad as a side here.
