Just a few more nights before you kids go positively bonkers and your tummies ache with the weight off too many logs and nogs of various provenance.

A couple quick things from us:

A few of you have asked what you can do for our team at this time of year. Thank you for asking! I am sure you mean if you overload them with all the milk bottles, ice packs and FD bags you have lurking around the house? Then yes! By all means. If you meant can you tip your drivers - you certainly always can! It's not in any way required but always appreciated - thank you!
It is going to be REALLY cold tomorrow am as the team does deliveries. A cooler is always a good idea to protect your shares from the rain, cold and that pack of feral squirrels smoking Malboro Reds who have been terrorizing your neighborhood.
If you normally receive a Tuesday delivery, next week we shake things up on you. We will NOT be doing deliveries on Tuesday December 24th. We will be coming Monday December 23rd with all your goodies. See you then!

Please email us by Sunday evening if you'd like us to skip the order that is due to process on Monday! This would not be for the items listed above but for the following delivery. It really, REALLY helps us if you skip BEFORE orders process early Monday morning.

You can take us with you! Get in touch and we'll put together a custom package of goodies to keep you sated while you're enjoying the Cape or Bar Harbor. If you're expecting to be away for several weeks or months we can put your subscription on hold.

Recipes

We went with Haddock for everyone this week to keep it light and simple.

This simple lesson from the KITCHN has all the basics on how to cook up all your fishes in about 10 on the stove top. I always love to throw in a fistful of capers. YUM.

Roasted Chestnuts: For our double shares this week we have chestnuts to roast on an open fire (your oven) just like the song says. Give it a go, these are delicious, simple and rewarding.

Falafel Bites: For the vegetarians in the house we have Falafel this week. If you have any pita kicking around still, now would be a great time to make falafel bites for your holiday gathering.
