RECIPES
Snazzy Weeknight Sauce: Yes, this lemon caper sauce isn't part of the share, but its a great thing to have in your arsenal as you are cooking up fresh fish, chicken or any kind of cutlet. Bright flavor, low on time.
Simple French Vinaigrette: A few ingredients, five minutes- stays a week. The shallot is the Carmen Sandiego here- you can't figure out Where in the World the touch of flavor is coming from. Sneaky shallots.
Scallops and Mushrooms: You can replace the spinach here with Kale or serve with a simple arugula salad with the French vinaigrette. Have your Iggy's bread on hand for mopping up all that butter. Don't go bonkers on overcooking the scallops, 90 sec per side should do it.
Sauteed Mushrooms and Scrambled Eggs: This would make a great edition of breakfast for dinner. Some buttered Iggy's toast and you're good to go.
Roasted Squash with Yogurt: Nice basic foundation for a recipe, with a Choose Your Own Adventure on the garnish. Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, pomegranate, or just some sliced herbs or raw onion make for a beautiful finish here.
TIP:
Storing Bread.
The bread we bring you was baked that morning. Still warm as Erin picked it up to deliver to the kitchen. It is a miracle from above that any of these treats make it from our amazing bakers into your shares without her scarfing half of them on the spot!
Fresh bread is delightful but it will go South on you after a day or two.
Here are a few ideas on what to do if you don't plan to inhale it all in one day.
