Hello,

Our Holiday 2023 store is live! We have a limited of Ham Roasts for your table (and your leftover sammies), a Spinach gruyere strata to make Christmas breakfast a breeze, and bake at home sticky buns from Forge to make your house smell just heavenly while you rewatch a Christmas Story for the ten bllionth time. And don't forget the Lobster Ravioli. Yeah, I said it. Lobster Ravioli. Go get you some.

Reminder! We are doing another dry goods drive to collect items for our neighbors and friends facing food insecurity with La Colaborativa in Chelsea, MA.

This partnership started at the height of the pandemic with our first food drive. We have been doing it ever since, and here we go again.

How it works:

The folks at La Colaborativa are looking for pantry basics: beans, rice, oatmeal, cereal, oil and sugar. If you have these items, please leave them out on your delivery day and your driver will take them between now and the end of the month!

Outside pantry items they are very much in need of diapers of any size and quantity.

Pesto Haddock - There is a lot of heavy eating coming our way and I am 100% NOT upset about it. But lets ease into it with something light. intro here is long but it includes some good tips on not overcooking le poisson.

Sausage Appetizer - Slice 'em up and get a nice sear on all sides. Serve with a sharp punchy mustard to get your guests to leave you alone while you cook.

Pizza Shells with Tomatoes and Pesto - again a no recipe recipe. More of a notion, shall we say? If you have the Iggy's Pizza Shells this week, or a frozen pizza dough ( or puff pastry!) bake it up, good spread of pesto some cheese and thinly sliced tomatoes. A good appetizer or main course that can be kept at room temp!

Pork Schnitzel & Mushroom Gravy - Yes. Please. This here is a classic mushroom sauce but there's some tasty recipes for mustard based sauces kicking around, too. You do you. The world is your schnitzel.

Skate Meunière - Yeah... we've posted this before but, like, it's classic for a reason.

Papas Con Chorizo (Potatoes With Mexican Chorizo) - Some of you are getting chicken chorizo which is a healthy but still tasty sub for this ridiculously simple dish that pays dividends in the satisfaction department.

Hot and Sour Dumpling Soup - Just had this for dinner last night with the Little Brother pork dumplings and dang, is it good. Customizable (Krista just destroyed me with more Sichuan chili oil than I could handle) and basically takes as long to cook the whole dish as it takes the dumplings to cook.
