This week we are excited to announce that we are expanding our à la carte veggie offering. In your wonderfully detailed (sometimes hilarious) survey responses, you called for more choice. And so you shall have it! (You also called for more chocolate and less monkfish. We hear you!)

With these new offerings we are starting small. But the goal is for Family Dinner to give you more personalized options across categories and allow you to make selections and shop for the items you need and love each week.

We are starting with the produce aisle, curating a selection of staples and seasonal highlights that will rotate with the growing season. Some will have longer stints in the store; lettuce mix, potatoes, mushrooms, and others will have short cameos that reflect the brevity of the season. Check it out, we hope you love it!

Pan-Roasted Hake - Splendid Table is a splendid food show on NPR (or wherever you get your podcasts). This is a dead simple and tasty way to whip up some hake or other white fish.

Spanish Chicken [or Hake or Monkfish] & Rice - Welp. Found this in the Splendid Table archives, too. Sounds delicious and super versatile.

Brothy Beans and Greens on Toast - 🎶 These are a few of my favorite things... 🎶

Granny Smith Apple Sorbet - Not sure if you can really call this a recipe as it's two ingredients and two steps. Regardless, sounds amazing. And great to have in your back pocket to use with other fruit.

Grilled Chicken with Mint and Radish Salad - On a Martha Stewart kick, apparently. Could absolutely sub chicken breast with skinned and deboned thighs (save the skin and bones for stock!)

Poached Egg Wild Mushroom Salad - Eggs and mushrooms and greens. What a trio.
