Just a quick shout out to last week's shares. We sent you dried smoked paprika from Kitchen Garden Farm. We got a couple emails of "what the heck do I do with these gems?" We heard the what the heck, and we are heeding it from two voices:

Those peppers are pretty versatile. I've used them in a two, broad, ways:

Grind up and use in recipes that call for smoked paprika.
Use as a sub for dishes that call for other whole, dried peppers.

Endless options for 1. For 2., one of my fav options is this recipe for chilaquiles. You can sub the ancho here and just treat the paprika the same way.

From Kitchen Garden Farm:

The smoked sweet paprikas are especially great cooked into bean/meat chili and pasta sauce or crushed and sprinkled on roasted potatoes, avocado toast, pizza, or anything that you'd like to add a smoky and bright flavor to. If you grind them in a spice grinder/food processor or with a mortar and pestle you can use them in any recipe that calls for smoked paprika powder

Winter is boring, but dinner doesn't have to be. (Nor is Heated Rivalry, am I right! Download HBO Max already so we can gab about it!)

Pork Chops With Apples and Butternut Squash - Yup. These are the flavors you want.

Fluke in Lemon Brodetto With Scallops and Squash - This sounds amazing. Fluke is such a delicate tasting fish. The delicate sweetness of the fluke is a great companion to the squash and scallops (and/or whatever other fish/shellfish you wanna toss in there).

Stuffed Butternut Squash: Three Variations - Great highlight of the versatility of squash. I love it.
