A big thanks!

First of all a HUGE thank you to all of your who filled out the Family Dinner survey - it was incredibly helpful and heart warming to hear from all of you. While we love the love you shared the most important thing for us to hear was around your frustrations - we are getting to work on those right away (website improvement, more staple items, better OnFleet communication!)

There were a few points of friction that came up a lot that, lucky for us, are already solved. Here's a quick recap:

NO BEETS PLEASE: Folks mentioned getting some veggies that they don't like/won't use (sorry beets and mushrooms!) and being sad to have to throw them away. You can always share a list of allergies or aversions with us and we will skip the offending items and replace them with some thing else. Just shoot us an email hello@sharefamilydinner.com.

WHAT THE HECK IS IN THIS BAG? We heard frustrations around not being able to identify certain fish or certain veggies in the shares. We got you! The full list of whats in each share is just beneath this silly message every week along with a few recipe ideas.

STAPLES PLEASE: We heard folks saying they wished they could get more staples from Family Dinner like milk and eggs. You already can! Check out the Dairy and Eggs section which bizarrely also hosts the Teddie Peanut Butter. More staples will be on their way soon and we will share them all with you!

All of this to say, thank you. We heard you and we are on it!

We hope you all have a great weekend. We hope you find a moment of joy in hugging somone you love, drinking a birdbath of a martini with a bucket of French Fries or revisiting the incredible canon of genius that is Tom Hanks work (I'm a Turner and Hooch gal myself) I hope something brings a smile to your face. God knows we could all use it.

Please email us by Sunday evening if you'd like us to skip the order that is due to process on Monday! This would not be for the items listed above but for the following delivery. It really, REALLY helps us if you skip BEFORE orders process early Monday morning.

You can take us with you! Get in touch and we'll put together a custom package of goodies to keep you sated while you're enjoying the Cape or Bar Harbor. If you're expecting to be away for several weeks or months we can put your subscription on hold.

What do I do with these bags/ice packs?

Please leave them outside for our drivers to collect and return to home base. We'll get them cleaned up and back into rotation.
