Berry, Berry Excited.

Berry, Berry Excited.

It's Summer in New England which means it's time to grab more hot dogs and fried seafood than one person can reasonably handle. Personally, when I'm done smashing lobster rolls and French Fries into my face like a crazed Hungry, Hungry Hippo, I like to settle into a nice cobbler or short cake to really zero things out. It's simple math.

Because fruit plays such a brief but essential role in the summer eating equation, we decided to double down on it and offer an extra fruit share. The Fruit Share can be a weekly or a one-time add on. It will contain two portions of local, seasonal fresh fruit each week. Quantities and type will vary in this Summer Only Add-On.

So whether you're snacking on them plain or gobbling them in a cobbler to round the caloric edges of the Fisherman's Platter you just ate, fruit is good for you and we're happy to bring you more of it!

While it's more Bean Boot Weather than Beach Weather, we hope you have a great weekend, that you can take some time, and enjoy something delicious.

Much Love,

Erin + Tim

RECIPES

(from Shannon)

I want to see what you're making! Send pics of your creations and other recipes over to recipes@sharefamilydinner.com for us to highlight!

Grilled Spring Onions - Oh my!! Are these onions beautiful!!! Slice them in half, a little oil and on the grill, I couldn't imagine anything more beautiful!

Grilled Potatoes - This recipe is close to one of my favorite things my mom would make us: put potatoes, onions, and butter inside aluminum foil and place on the grill. After awhile, open the foil and smell the amazingness, then cover in tons of cheese and have fork fights over the best pieces.

Grilled Romaine - Well, according to my murder podcasts, 3 is a pattern. Picking up on the pattern in these recipes today? I hope you have a grill! Enjoy a new twist on a salad and enjoy fewer dishes to clean later!

Grilled Sea Bass - Can't Stop, Won't Stop. I see grilled dinner in your future!

Beet Salad with Bacon and Onion - Okay, I stopped. Here's a great way to use your beets! Also, do not disappoint my Grannie and waste your beet greens

Arugula, Cherry, Goat Cheese Salad - Quick salad to put together and enjoy the summer freshness!

Greek Grilled Chicken - Thought you could avoid grilling recipes for the rest of the email, think again. And while you're thinking about it, imagine how delicious this chicken will be with a side of beet salad and grilled romaine! Yum!
