Hello friends,

It's going to be an amazing packing day tomorrow. The ladies at Jaju Pierogi will be lending a hand packing coolers, dancing to Cowboy Carter and likely creating some absurd content for social.

Jaju was started by two sisters Vanessa and Casey using their Jaju's (Dziadziu's - that's grandpa for anyone not lucky enough to be Polish) recipes. We have been buying and gobbling up their pierogi since the beginning of Family Dinner and we are so excited to see them absolutely crushing it and going nationwide with their goods!

Their social media is a rabbit hole of delightful pierogi content. Are there wigs and disguises? Sure. Roller skating and dance sequences? Yes. Give them a follow @jajupierogi to brighten up your day and to find them at events. While you're at it, give us a follow @sharefamilydinner. There are far worse jokes and far fewer roller skates on ours but we are happy to live in their shadow.

And, HOT OFF THE PRESSES! They have a new product: Loaded Baked Potato Pierogi. Just typing those words sent a single tear cascading down my cheek. We will have them for you to add to your shares in this Sunday's Spotlight. Stay tuned.

The on RAMP to Spring

This week in the Double Shares we have ramps and fiddleheads. These guys are the superheroes of Spring. Ramps are wild onions with a punch of garlic flavor. As one of the first things to pop out of the ground, they stand in defiance to the seemingly interminable winter we just endured. Their season is painfully short and their popularity is growing in leaps and bounds.

Food writer Josh Ozersky once said “The Church of the Ramp is one of the fastest-growing denominations in the religion of seasonality.” We couldn't agree more and we count among the Faithful. Use them quickly, they're a bit delicate. They go well on almost anything; eggs, salads, sandwiches or tacos.

They are hand foraged (sounds exhausting), which is the reason their quantity is so limited. Joe is working like crazy to get his mitts on more of them to include in the store for the rest of the season. Maybe pair your hand foraged ramps with your loaded baked potato pierogi. That is some business casual cuisine right there folks, and the stuff that dreams are made of!

White House Garden Herb-Roasted Chicken with Braised Greens - If it's good enough for Michelle, it's good enough for us. (And beyond that, this is a delicious and easy to prep meal.)

Fish Stir Fry - I like the idea of this quite a bit. Awesome change of pace for broiled seafood and the haddock in almost all of your shares would be pretty ideal.
