Bags! Calling all bags! Please take a moment this weekend to leave out any Family Dinner bags or ice packs you may have. Each week we clean and sanitize them to get them ready for next week's rotation. Doing this helps us be a low-waste company which gives us the warm and fuzzies. We thank you, your bags thank you and Mother Earth does, too.
Shoulder Season
Stamp your passports, folks. We are entering Shoulder Season.
Shoulder season is that magnificent time between late summer and winter harvest where the world is your oyster. You get all the summer goods like scallions and delicate greens like arugula but also some autumnal harbingers like squash.
Your plates can be bright, peppery and comforting at the same time.
Given that the times they are a-changing, so too is the seasonal produce in the à la carte section. Stay tuned for the Sunday Spotlight where you'll find the links to all the potatoes, carrots other veggies you need to sweep you right into Soup/Sweater season, which isn't here quite yet but is knocking on the door.
Oh! And for folks that keep asking. YES! We are still taking bulk orders of beef. 100% local, 100% grass-fed beef from our friends at Cold Spring Ranch. Pick your cuts as you go, stock up on ground beef, or write to us about a custom order to stock your freezer. Whatever you need, we are here for you!
