Good Morning Friends,

We are always snooping around for new items to put into the store for you. We want the shopping experience with Fam Din to be exciting and new, and we're aiming to meet more and more of your grocery needs everyday.

Now, we're not going all willy nilly; the Family Dinner store isn't going to end up looking like the checkout line at TJ Maxx with rows of random uselessness. (Does anyone need a dog themed cold brew cup that reads "Live, Laugh, Pug"? Like, really need?)

We're still extremely picky about vendors and quality - we want to make sure that what we bring to you and your family is the best stuff around. And we want to make your life just a little bit easier.

So we're adding a few staples to the store: boneless skinless chicken breast, chicken salad (hello, easy lunch!) seasonal produce add-ons like organic garlic, basil and heirloom tomatoes and more.

While you're browsing the aisles don't forget to peek at the Pick of the Week options; cheese, pastry, fresh pasta and salads galore!

And you may be wondering, what's a CSA doing with all these options? Well... we have never really been just a CSA (just ask our TedTalk!) we're more of a farmer's market delivery service. We are now working with over 80 local farms, makers and producers.

By creating this network of purveyors we are eliminating waste in the food supply chain, expanding the market reach of these small producers and giving them a chance to be more competitive.

So when you buy from Family Dinner, you are helping to build and reinforce this network, making the local food ecosystem stronger and more resilient.

Recipes

Chinese Eggplant with Garlic Sauce - A staple in our household. I'm not a huge fan of eggplant and this is one of the only preparations where I'm like, "Damn... eggplant is good."

Simple Grilled-Potato Salad With Grilled-Lemon Vinaigrette - Also a staple (albeit in the summertime). The smell of the garlic when the hot potatoes hits the bowl? Holy crap... Would be amazing alongside the grilled chicken Italian sausage that some of you are getting.

Rajas Tacos - Little bit of simple prep and little more time of simple cooking and you've got a fantastically excellent taco night on your hands.
