Thanksgiving is right around the corner and Joe and I have been hard at work crafting this year's offerings for you. There will be turkeys, gravy, stuffing, pies, pie crust, rolls and all the veggies by that pound that you need to meticulously peel and sautée in an unreasonable amount of butter (which we will also have, along with local heavy cream and half and half if you're still dying for more fat/flavor)

Stay tuned - they will be in the store next week!

ALSO - it is not only Head of the Charles this weekend in Boston but also the No Kings Protest. The driving will be complicado to say the least. We appreciate your patience and are here for you with any questions you have.

Pass the Bowl.

Not that kind of bowl, friends. Not the kind that makes you want to curl up in your sweats with a full bag of Fritos and watch the Notebook for the 37th time - though Rachel McAdams and Ryan Whateverhisnameis are dreamy as hell.

I'm talking about the culinary phenomenon of THE BOWL. The poke bowl, the burrito bowl (partial to that one), the acai bowl and others. They're everywhere. It's like the foodie world decided that plates were as demoded as skinny jeans and that the bowl was the new IT girl.

And honestly, I don't hate it. Why not start with your favorite base (rice, quinoa, cold noodles) and add little bits and bobs from the fridge? You can check out our IG for some inspo (I literally hate that I just typed that, bless my heart) using the Heiwa tofu from this week.

It's like Duke from the Notebook always said "I think our love can do anything we want it to" and by "love", he meant grain bowl.
