Summer is winding down but that doesn't mean that that grill of yours doesn't still need some love and affection.

This week Joe has curated the perfect smash burger collection for you. Beef from Cold Spring Ranch, Hamburger buns in bread of the week, Cheddar Cheese from Pineland at cheese of the week - you see this dream being written out in real time.

And it's finally time that we had the talk. You know, THE TALK.

About thickness. I am sorry to share that you have been lied to you whole life.

You have been served up 8oz burger patties that look like pucks Wayne Gretzky would have shot into the net in the early 90's with his luxurious locks. Those burgers end up dry, the ratios are all wrong and sadness abounds.

Enter, the Smash Burger. A slimmer burger at just over 4oz, perfect proportions for your bunz Melty cheese, grilled onions and some shaved lettuce if your bunz are feeling fancy.

Some Cape Cod chips kid, some Sauv B and summer lives to see another day. We hope you enjoy them on the porch with an old dog hoping for scraps. Soon enough we can all be winter turtles, hiding in our shells and our fleece jackets. For now, lets walk in the sunshine, drink cold beers and hulk smash the best burgers around.
